A huge congratulations to the 15 students who performed solos at the LC3-UC4 Performance Platform in the Princess Hall on Saturday 16th November.
We heard an array of different instruments from saxophones to harps, and we had several singers who used the performance opportunity to test their nerve before the superb Singing Prizes that took place the following week. Music included composers such as Bach and Schumann, and songs ranging from Bob Chilcott, Quiet from the musical Matilda, and Fallin' by Alicia Keys!
Each performance was not only well prepared and musically evoking, but you could see the confidence gained from performing in front of their year groups. This was wonderful to witness.
The audience listened so intently throughout, and it was fantastic to see the appreciation given to each performance.
It was also lovely to welcome several parents to this event.
