You may be aware from recent media reports, that 147 schools in England have been identified as structurally at risk due to crumbling concrete used in their construction.
The specific material referred to is ‘reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete’ known as RAAC.
We would like to reassure you that RAAC has not been used in any of the buildings across our diverse estate, and that all buildings are regularly surveyed to monitor structural integrity.
