On Thursday 12th February, 18 Upper College and Sixth Form pupils gave a public recital at the Jacqueline du Pre Auditorium at St Hilda’s College, Oxford.
Molly, Mohan, Maegan, Sophia and Yannie each performed solos. String Serenaders gave a captivating rendition of music by Bach, Mozart and Warlock, and there were also excellent performances by two of our string quartets of works by Dvořák and Mendelssohn.
After the concert, Martyn Harry, Professor of Music at the University of Oxford, gave a talk and a Q&A to our pupils about the undergraduate Music course.
This was a great opportunity to renew the longstanding connection between St Hilda’s College and CLC.
