Friday 10th June was the perfect day for the LC3 (Year 9) trip to Primrose Vale Farm – a local producer of fruit and vegetables. We thought it would be a great opportunity for them to venture outdoors for our Wellbeing session and enjoy a quintessentially British pastime – strawberry picking!
After a week of exams, our hard-working LC3 students relished the idea, and it was a joy to spend the afternoon with them in the sunshine. Following an introductory talk, they were delighted to explore the area, seeking out the most ripe and succulent strawberries and raspberries. In addition to punnets of fabulous fruit, the pupils enjoyed an ice cream and refreshments, along with the chance to relax in lovely surroundings. We all enjoyed the treat!
