CLC is delighted to be selected as a Finalist in the Independent School of the Year Awards in the Student Careers Programme category.
The Professional Guidance Centre (PGC), led by Dr Victoria Sherwood, offers a wealth of insight and expertise to help guide and support our students as they strive to find the right path for them.
Dr Sherwood said:
“I am really proud of the Professional Guidance Centre team for this exciting nomination; we are passionate about offering individualised, open-minded, informed and brave guidance to all our students as they make key decisions about their future careers. It is wonderful to have our provision recognised in this way.”
The PGC supports students throughout College, from Lower College balloon debates to Upper College and Sixth Form Professional Networking Dinners. The team also provide dedicated support for Sixth Form pupils applying for university courses.
This year's leavers have secured a range of places, from Music at Cambridge, Law at KCL, and Fashion at the London College of Fashion, to Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial, German and Spanish at Oxford, and Film and Television at UCLA in the US.
The winners of each award category, plus the overall Independent School of the Year, will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on Tuesday 11th October at 6pm.
