Although it is still early days in the Higher Education admissions cycle, we are already delighted by the exciting and impressive university offers that have come in so far for the Year 13 Class of 2023.
The early US round so far has seen offers including NYU, Brown, Dartmouth, Santa Clara, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, SCAD, University of Michigan, and Loyola Marymount University. It is always a long wait for the regular offers to come out in the spring but students are continuing to be incredibly proactive, sending letters of continued interest and, of course, focussing in on their exam preparation.
In the UK, offers so far are broad, forward-thinking and reflect the empowered ambition of our students. A few examples include Civil Engineering at Bristol, English at KCL, Economics at Durham, Geography at Edinburgh, Applied Medical Sciences at UCL, Geology at Durham, Fashion Design at the University for the Creative Arts, Theoretical Physics at Bristol, Arabic and Spanish at Manchester, Anthropology at Sussex, Curating and Art History at York, Architecture at Bath, Computer Science at Durham, Liberal Arts at Exeter, PPE at LSE, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at QMUL to name but a very few.
We were delighted that 23 students received Oxbridge offers for courses including Medicine, Natural Science, Geography, Philosophy, and Law with French Law, again just to name a few.
We are very proud of each and every SFC2 (Year 13) student and all that they are achieving, not just in these wonderful university offers, but also in the determination, resilience, good humour and inspiring ambition and values which they demonstrate each and every day here at College.
