Adventure Days 2026

Adventure Days 2026

Lower College and Upper College students enjoyed an array of fun activities at this year’s Adventure Days. From climbing to zip-lining, they all ventured out of their comfort zone.

On Thursday 24 September, the UC3s embarked on their annual Adventure Day at Blackwell Court.

The day provided students with an excellent opportunity to integrate with their peers and challenge themselves in a variety of activities.

With lovely weather throughout, students enjoyed taking part in the zip wire, high ropes and laser tag.

The journey home was certainly a lively one, with all three coaches filled with enthusiastic singing and house music favourites.

Everyone had a fantastic day, made new friends, and embraced the spirit of adventure.

On Monday 28 September, the LC1s travelled to Boundless Outdoors in Bell Heath. The day followed a ‘Space Race’ theme, with teams completing a range of challenges to earn points towards a final bottle rocket competition.

The girls fully embraced the activities, which included high bridges, climbing, a zip wire, tunnels and a variety of team challenges.

They thoroughly enjoyed the day, meeting new people, developing their confidence and having lots of fun.

On Tuesday 29 September, LC2s spent the day at 270 Climbing Park, where they had the opportunity to enjoy themselves while facing a different kind of challenge.

The day began on the high ropes course, which features six levels of varying difficulty, the highest reaching 20 metres.

Throughout the morning, the girls progressed between the levels, testing themselves on a range of obstacles and pushing their boundaries.

After lunch, the group split, with some taking on the thrilling 20-metre free fall while others tackled the fun climbing walls.

It was an active and enjoyable day, and many girls overcame their fears and left feeling immensely proud of their achievements.
