Bridging The Educational and Technological Gap: Long-Standing IT Partnerships
IT Partnerships
For over 20 years, the Digital Services team have donated redundant IT equipment, including computers and laptops, interactive screens and networking equipment, to local and international schools, organisations and charities.
We have built many long-standing partnerships and supported a wide range of projects and initiatives, and are always excited to help new partners.
In the past five years, our donations have reached local primary schools and other partner organisations, such Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees.
Over the last year, we supported four different groups, each with unique equipment needs. We are proud to share that the donated equipment is now being used by people in the UK and overseas.
A donation of even a single laptop can make a huge difference!

Kambia District Foundation
Earlier this year, we were put in contact with Kambia District Foundation – a small charity supporting the advancement of children's education in the Kambia District in Sierra Leone.
They needed two laptops to enable local teachers to complete work for the schools they work in.
Although this donation was small, we were delighted to see that the impact was huge!
Biology Trip to Tanzania
Over the October half-term trip to Tanzania, the Biology department and Sixth Form students took 10 laptops to donate to a school they visited during the trip.
ITSA Digital Trust
We have worked with ITSA (IT Schools Africa) for nearly 20 years; they are an amazing charity who have helped give access to technology to millions of people across Africa and the UK.
Over the decades, we have donated thousands of items that have been delivered far and wide across the world to give people access to the technology that we take for granted.
This year we donated a large quantity of All-in-One computers to the charity. Some of these were recently sent to Zimbabwe on the charity's latest shipment.
