Careers Networking

National Careers Week 2026

We recently held our first CLC Careers Networking Event with schools across the Cheltenham Education Partnership.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome careers leaders from schools within the Cheltenham Education Partnership, alongside representatives from the Early Careers Team at Spirax Group. The session enabled us to share insight into current labour market opportunities and explore how we can work more closely to support young people as they transition from education into employment.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for discussion around career pathways, skills needs, and the importance of clear, up-to-date information for students. It also marked the start of what we hope will be a strong and collaborative relationship between CLC, local schools, and careers professionals across Cheltenham.

We want to thank Caroline Ellis, Harry Hastead and Tanya Torkoniak from Spirax Group for sharing their insights, as well as Careers advisers from Pates Grammar, Balcarras, Dean Close and Cheltenham College for attending and contributing so positively to the event. We look forward to building on these conversations at future networking opportunities.
