DofE Bronze Walking and Paddling

DofE Bronze Walking and Paddling

Over the weekend, 109 LC3 students undertook their qualifying expeditions for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. 88 Students walked in the Cotswolds and 21 paddled on the River Avon.

Despite the building heat, all approached the expedition with a mixture of apprehension and excitement.

All of the girls did themselves proud, putting into practice everything they have learnt over the course of the year. Both expeditions were very successful and all achieved the expedition section of the award. The girls came back very tired but very positive about the overall experience!
