Ensembles Concert: Music from the Movies

The Music from the Movies Concert brought together 140 performers and eight of College’s ensembles in a celebration of iconic film music.

Sinfonia opened with the thrilling main titles from Mission: Impossible, and Sinfonietta followed this with a dramatic rendition of Les Misérables.

The Harp Ensemble and flute groups offered some more cinematic favourites, from Interstellar to Toy Story.

The LC2 Piano Trio offered Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Lower College Choir gave us A Thousand Years from Twilight. The evening closed with Fireball from the Percussion Ensemble – a high-energy finale.

The performers dressed up as movie characters, adding an element of fun to a highly entertaining concert.
