Frantic Assembly Workshop

LC3 students considering GCSE Drama took part in an exciting and energetic workshop led by a professional practitioner from Frantic Assembly. The session introduced students to the company’s distinctive physical theatre style, beginning with a lively cardio warm-up that set the tone for a highly active and engaging experience.

Students collaborated to create dynamic movement sequences, including lifts, developing both their physical confidence and teamwork skills. The workshop provided valuable insight into devising techniques, a key component of the GCSE course, and inspired students to explore new ways of storytelling through movement.

It was a challenging, rewarding, and highly motivating experience for all involved.
