Students achieve highest marks in the UK

Highest marks in the UK

All our pupils received fantastic results this summer, with an incredible seven pupils achieving the highest marks in the country across A Level, IB and GCSE.

Three pupils achieved the highest possible IB score of 45 points, awarded to less than 1% of all IB Diploma candidates worldwide. With an average score of 40.6 points across the cohort, CLC is ranked 3rd in the UK and 10th in the world for IB (Education Advisors Top IB League Tables).

One pupil achieved five A* grades at A Level, placing her amongst a very small group of just 25 students nationally. Across A Level and IB, over three quarters (76%) of grades at were awarded A*/A/7/6 equivalent.

At subject level, achievements included two Art pupils being awarded among the highest marks in the country. These achievements mark the third consecutive year that CLC Art pupils have received this rare accolade. One pupil also achieved the top GCSE English Literature mark nationally.
