LC1 and LC2 Scholars' Recital

The LC1 and LC2 Scholars’ Recital took place in the Council Room on Friday lunchtime, showcasing the exceptional talents of three of our Music Scholars.

Esther opened the programme with a captivating performance of Salzedo’s Polka for solo harp, before demonstrating her versatility with a lively piano rendition of the much-loved tango El Choclo.

Grace then impressed the audience by performing two Schubert Sonata movements, first on the violin and then at the piano.

The recital concluded with Margaret, who delivered an engaging performance of Kreisler/De Falla’s Danse Espagnole on the violin, followed by Peixun’s evocative Thunder in Drought Season on the piano.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable recital, reflecting the high level of musicianship within our scholar community.
