Leaving Prayers

Last Friday, College gathered in the Princess Hall for Leaving Prayers to mark the last day of term.

It was fantastic to come together and welcome staff, students and families to enjoy readings, music from the College Choir, and a selection of prayers and hymns, including Praise My Soul, the King of Heaven and Shine Jesus Shine.

Our community heard from four pupils from our leaving Class of 2026, Bee, Artiqah, Eyimofe and Izzy (SFC2), who spoke eloquently about their memories and time at CLC, as well as an address from Executive Principal Eve Jardine-Young and a blessing from Reverend Helen.

Becoming a CLC student

At CLC, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to question, explore and contribute - in the classroom, on the stage, on the sports pitch and across College life.

Every year we welcome around 150 new students to join our vibrant community of 820 day girls and boarders, each ready to discover their strengths and shape their own path.
