Roman Catholic Confirmation 2026

We were delighted to prepare and support the confirmation of 11 girls from Cheltenham Ladies’ College who were confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church by Bishop Bosco on Saturday 23rd May.

The service was a wonderful occasion with parents, grandparents and godparents filling up the pews in support, and it never fails to move me when a church full of young people stands up and publicly professes to be ‘ready and willing’ to follow the Christian faith – whatever that journey might mean for them.

I would also like to pay tribute to St Gregory’s Parish Church in Cheltenham, who are always so incredibly welcoming to us. We remain deeply grateful for the support and prayers of Father David, Maggie and Graham Wheeler, and Deacon John.

As always, my heart as a Chaplain is that all might flourish, so I continue to hold the College, the staff and parents in my thoughts and prayers as we draw ever closer to the end of another academic year.
