Sixth Form Centre: Construction Progress
Significant progress is already being made on the Zarith Sofiah Centre.
The contractor is now fully established on site, and extensive preparatory work has been completed within the building, including the removal of walls and mechanical and electrical services which are no longer required.
Meanwhile, new openings have been made within the structural slabs for the new staircase and lift.
Externally, scaffolding has been erected around the building in preparation for minor roof repairs, installation of replacement windows and complete external redecoration. Structural repairs and strengthening works will take place ahead of re-assembling the building with our fantastic new spaces.
We have recently welcomed students onto site to see progress first-hand and share in the excitement of this significant project.
