Dance
Congratulations to the 45 girls who took their RAD Ballet or ISTD Jazz, Tap & Contemporary exams over the last week amidst extreme weather conditions!
You have all worked extremely hard throughout the year, and I’m sure your commitment and dedication will reflect in your results. Thank you to all the teachers who have assisted in preparing the girls for these exams and all the staff involved in making sure the exam days ran smoothly. Well done, girls!
Well done to everyone who also took part in the House Dance on Friday – the routines were all performed brilliantly and to such a high standard. This year, the winners were St Austin's!
Table Tennis
Huge congratulations to Sarah (SFC1), who has spent the weekend in Cardiff representing England at the Table Tennis International Schools Tournament. She has had a busy weekend, playing against Guernsey, Ireland, Jersey, Scotland and Wales. She did brilliantly, picking up a bronze medal in the team event as well as a gold medal in the singles consolation event.
Well done, Sarah, what a phenomenal achievement as well as an amazing experience!
Athletics
Congratulations to everyone who took part in this year's House Athletics & Challenge Cup. It was a fantastic morning of competition, with over 30 personal best performances, three new House Athletics records and two new College age-group records.
However, the real highlight was the incredible House spirit on display, with students encouraging one another, embracing new challenges and stepping outside their comfort zones to compete for their teams.
A special thank you also goes to our SFC Sports Committee, whose leadership of the LC1 and LC2 Challenge Cup teams helped create such a positive and supportive atmosphere. Well done to everyone who made the event such a memorable celebration of participation, teamwork and athletic excellence!

Tennis
On Sunday, Leanne and Kat, who were the winner and runner-up of the CLC venue stage of the 'Play Your Way To Wimbledon' competition, went to Oxstalls in Gloucester to play against the winners from the other venues in Gloucestershire.
They both won their first matches, taking them into the semi-final, but unfortunately, both met tough opposition, taking them out of the event. They did really well to get so far, well done!
Lacrosse
Gabbie (SFC2) is in Prague for the inaugural Women's European Box Lacrosse Championships. She has played three games for England as a defender, helping the team take two wins in the opening round robin stages, including an epic comeback against Germany in overtime.
Guild member, Lauren Lewis (Class of 2016), is once again a prolific goal scorer in her second outing at a major tournament for England. You can see both our CLC players in action daily for the duration of the tournament until Saturday 4th July.
Skiing
The ski team travelled to Manchester Chill Factore to take part in the British Schools Indoor Open Champs to put their latest block of training to the test!
All 18 girls got at least one solid timed run, with many improving in the second. There were podium finishes for U19 Allegra and Margot, who were 4th and 5th, respectively, and Ines was crowned U14 Champion. Seraphina joined the girls on the podium when they were announced as the fastest girls' team to top off a fantastic performance for the whole squad!
