The University Guys International Universities Fair
Last week, we held an International Universities Fair, where Upper College and Sixth Form students were invited to broaden their understanding of global higher education opportunities.
Hosted by The University Guys, the event brought together representatives from three prestigious institutions from across the world: Bocconi University in Italy, SHL (Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern) in Switzerland, and the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in the USA.
Students had the opportunity to engage directly with university representatives, gaining first-hand insights into academic programmes, campus life, entry requirements, and graduate pathways.
Bocconi’s representative highlighted the university’s strong reputation in economics, business, and social sciences, as well as its close links with industry across Europe.
SHL offered a fascinating overview of Swiss hospitality education, emphasising practical learning, international internships, and its strong graduate employment record within the global hotel and tourism sector.
Meanwhile, SCAD captured students’ interest with its wide range of creative degrees spanning fashion, film, animation, and design.
The fair encouraged students across year groups to think beyond universities in the UK and reflect on how universities around the world might align with their interests and ambitions.
Students were inspired to explore new possibilities and consider a global and fearless outlook for their future studies.
