UKMT Maths Poster Competition – Maths is Magic!

The Maths Department was delighted to take part in this year's UKMT Maths Poster Competition, which challenged students to explore the theme "Maths is Magic!"

Working in groups, students combined their mathematical knowledge with creativity and imagination to design posters that celebrated the magic of mathematics while including details of the 2026/27 UKMT competitions. It was wonderful to see the girls collaborating so effectively, sharing ideas, solving problems together, and supporting one another throughout the process.

The activity provided an excellent opportunity for students to think about mathematics in a different way and to showcase both their artistic talents and their enthusiasm for the subject. The classrooms were filled with energy, creativity, and excitement as teams worked together to bring their ideas to life.

We are incredibly proud to have submitted over 30 posters to the competition. The standard of work was outstanding, reflecting the girls' originality, teamwork, and dedication. Every participant should be congratulated on their fantastic effort and the positive attitude they brought to the challenge.

We have included a selection of posters as examples of the excellent work produced. Congratulations to all the girls who took part and represented the school so brilliantly.
