Each September approximately 50 pupils join us in UC3 (Year 9 / 13+), around 80% of whom come as Boarding students from the UK and around the world. They join one of six thriving junior boarding Houses where they form close bonds, whilst also making friends in other houses through their school lessons and the many social events throughout the year.
Our experienced tutoring and pastoral staff help them settle into College, adapt to house life and their new routine, and remain with them through their GCSE exams.
We currently only have a limited number of day spaces available for September 2026 entry. If you would like to find out more, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can discuss your daughter's application.
Please note that further scholarship and bursary applications are not currently being considered for entry in September 2026.
If you're hoping to join us in September 2027, you're right on time. Now's the time to visit and register ahead of our entrance assessments in June 2026.
Please complete an Enquiry Form as soon as possible and enquire about our June entry process.
If you're hoping to join us in September 2028 or beyond, we run entrance exams during Year 7. Your next step is to fill in an Enquiry Form, so we have your details, and book into a open day to come and have a look around.
An in-person visit will help you imagine life as part of the CLC community. We hold Open Days at intervals throughout the academic year, or you can book a private tour with our Admissions team.
Please note that pre-booking is required for all visits.
Our Admissions Team regularly travel to attend schools fairs and meet families overseas. This is an excellent way to find out more about CLC and help you determine whether we are a school which could be right for your daughter.
We encourage you to Register as soon as you have decided College is an option for your daughter. You do this via our Admissions Portal, and it means we can keep in touch, invite you to events and inform you of key deadlines.
Registered parents will be sent a link to an Entrance Exam Form to complete. This confirms you want to go ahead with your daughter's application and enter her for the Assessment Day.
It is important for us to meet all our candidates as part of the entry process in order for us to get to know them as learners and potential members of our community.
During the day, your daughter will undertake written papers, group discussions and team activities. She will also be able to see more of the College buildings, be able to ask questions about life at CLC and discover the broad range of activities available to our pupils. A Briefing Paper summarising the areas we assess is available below.
In some limited circumstances, we are also able to offer assessment days at a test centre in Hong Kong on a fixed date during the Autumn - please contact us for more information about this.
Each year, we make available a Briefing Paper summarising the subject content and skills we assess along with a suggested reading list, and a link to a Verbal Reasoning familiarisation exercise:
Our team of assessors review each candidate’s performance. Our decision to offer a place is a holistic one based on the assessment day feedback, performance in the entrance exams and the reference we request from her current Head Teacher.
We are immensely proud of our Scholarship Programme, which covers Academics, Music, Art and Sports.
While scholarships do not carry a fee remission, they provide talented students with extra tuition, networking events and opportunities to develop their skills.
We will send scholarship information to all those who have accepted their place in the summer of Year 7.
In June of Year 8, parents receive confirmation of their daughter's House and be given access to an online portal containing our joining information and forms to be completed.
In late June / early July, you'll have contact with your new Houseparent.
The Autumn term begins at the start of September. Arrangements vary each year, but new students tend to have an induction a day or two before the term begins, to give them chance to settle in.
If you have missed the application deadlines we are occasionally able to fast track an application, although we cannot guarantee that this will result in a place. For a conversation about late entry options for your daughter, please contact our Admissions Team via the "Request a Callback" feature on our Admissions Portal.
From a world-leading education in the heart of a beautiful Cotswolds town to our inclusive houses and fun weekend programme featuring zorbing, outdoor cinema and roller discos, find out why our boarders and their families love being part of the CLC community.
