The U12s and U13s finished the term with excellent performances in their match against Beaudesert Prep School. They dug deep to find that extra gear and really challenge themselves, showing great determination throughout. Well done to everyone, and a special congratulations to the five swimmers who achieved new personal best times!
Congratulations to the 95 girls who performed beautifully in the Cinderella Dance Showcase! You all showed excellent commitment and dedication in the lead-up to the show and gave it your all on stage. Thanks to all those who came along to support the girls in the audience; it was a fantastic week!
With no time to rest, congratulations to the 16 girls who went straight from Cinderella into their RAD ballet exams this Tuesday! You should be very proud of yourselves, well done!
The team had a thrilling encounter with Cheltenham College in our first-ever fixture! CLC opened the scoring after strong initial pressure from Cheltenham College. We remained firmly in control throughout the match, with everyone from LC1 to SFC1 getting a run out against much older opposition. We look forward to welcoming them to CLC on the 26th February for a return fixture!
A massive congratulations to the 30 rowers who competed in the British Rowing Indoor Championships on Saturday! It was an amazing day with lots of personal bests achieved. A special shout-out to Aurelie (LC3), who placed sixth in the 500m sprint and seventh in the timed race in her age group, which makes her sixth and seventh in Great Britain!
Huge well done to Florrie (SFC2) for achieving a sub-8-minute 2k on such a competitive stage.
Dagmar and Nadia (SFC1) also secured top-20 positions in Great Britain, and Lottie (UC4) also finished in the top 20 in the 500m sprint, incredible achievements all round!
One of the highlights of the day was watching athletes from the Great Britain Rowing Team compete. It was truly awe-inspiring to see these elite athletes racing, and a fantastic opportunity for the girls to watch.
Well done to everyone involved, we are so proud of you all!
Well done to our four runners, Hannah (UC4), Joanna and Allegra (LC4), and Annabelle (LC1), who represented Cheltenham Schools superbly at the County Championships on Sunday.
Despite muddy conditions, they showed great determination to tackle the course as best they could and deserve full congratulations for their valiant efforts.
The Senior and U15 lacrosse teams met the challenges set for them in Saturday’s matches against Tudor Hall. In both games, we saw players performing exceptionally well under pressure and working together to implement key tactics in match play that will be essential for future performances at the National Schools Lacrosse Championships in March.
Congratulations to all players involved for finishing the term strong with two well-earned wins!
Huge congratulations to the U12 team, who represented CLC so fabulously at the County Qualifying tournament. The squad developed hugely over the course of the matches, finishing with two wins, two draws, and one loss, but missed out on Regionals by the smallest margin.
Saturday saw a perfect finish to the term with two wins and a draw, but more importantly, some fantastic performances all around. All the teams showed amazing tenacity and the ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
Well done all!
On Saturday afternoon, 50 pupils from LC1 to SFC2 took part in a friendly Christmas Netball tournament. With Christmas music setting the tone, the teams were mixed across all age groups, creating a brilliant blend of experience, enthusiasm, and festive team spirit. It was especially heart-warming to see the older pupils stepping up as fantastic role models - offering guidance, encouragement, and support to the younger players as they navigated their matches.
The festive tournament was a fantastic celebration to close the 2025 netball season!
