Farnley Lodge

Farnley Lodge is one of the older College houses. For the first 70 years, it was located closer to the centre of Cheltenham, in what is now the town's YMCA. In 1955, Farnley Lodge moved to its current location, a building which had previously housed a boy's prep school.

A number of small and large refurbishments have occurred in the intervening years, and today Farnley Lodge is a comfortable and modern home from home for dozens of teenagers.

From the Houseparent

"I was thrilled to be appointed as Houseparent of Farnley Lodge in January 2019. I have been a Houseparent for four years, so understand the intricacies of boarding and all that it entails. It is a role that I thoroughly enjoy. Prior to this I had worked in schools in Cheshire and London. In my spare time I love to go travelling and also enjoy walking, particularly coastal.

"Farnley Lodge is a House where every girl is valued and encouraged to reach her full potential. There is a team of dedicated, experienced and caring House Staff, who help and support the girls and make Farnley the happy and lively community that it is."
