Brain Day 2026
SFC1 Biology and Psychology students were treated to Brain Day with Dr Guy Sutton of Medical Biology Interactive, exploring the anatomy and consciousness of the brain during a range of sessions.

We celebrated Physics and Engineering Week with an array of engaging activities that showcased our pupils’ creativity, perseverance, and problem-solving skills.
Greenpower Racing – Bedford Heat
The Greenpower team had an exciting day of racing at the Bedford Autodrome, navigating the course with fantastic determination. They drove brilliantly, finishing an impressive 7th in the first, highly competitive kit car heat and 6th in the second race.

Industrial Cadets Gold Success
A team of six SFC students showcased their innovation and teamwork, winning Best Project for 2026 at the Industrial Cadets Gold Celebration Day event at the University of Birmingham.
Visit to JCA London Fashion Academy
Students travelled to London for a visit to the JCA London Fashion Academy, founded by Professor Jimmy Choo.
Young Designers Showcase 2026
Students showcased the garments they had created for the Young Designers project, run by the Cheltenham Education Partnership in conjunction with local organisation Lives Of Colour.
Chemistry Competitions
Summer Term 2026 saw a flurry of Chemistry competitions that challenged students to showcase their knowledge of Chemistry and problem-solving skills, including the National Scientific Thinking Challenge, the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge C3L6 and more.
